Say I’m Yours is an utterly raw, sweet, vulnerable, emotional second chance love story. There is just something about the way Corinne Michaels writes a story that consumes you to the core. Every fiber of your being is coursing with this need to embrace, love, and feel for her characters. This sentiment couldn’t be more true as my heart was beating wildly for Trent Hennington and Grace as they navigate their journey alone and as a couple.

There was no denying it Trent and Grace loved each other fiercely but time and time again, Trent would find a way to push Grace away. This wall surrounding his heart that Grace tried to break never seemed to cracked. And so when Grace finally made it known to Trent that she had enough, his hard exterior began to show it’s crack. It began to crumble. Trent is well aware that there is no other woman beside Grace. She completes him. She is his other half. His heart. His soul. She is his. But what happens when Grace finally decides to move on to the guy that has been patiently waiting his time to get his chance with her?

Grace knows deep down she will be forever be broken. Her heart, soul, mind, and being belongs to Trent. But how long can she wait for him to finally say the words that she longs to hear. Thirty six years old and still single isn’t what Grace thought she would be at this point in her life. She wants what all her friends and family have. Love, marriage and kids. She wants that life with Trent but is he willing to give that to her or will she discover and realize that another man is willing to give her the happiness that she deserves.

When it comes to love nothing is black and white. And for Trent and Grace their love was complicated. They knew deep down to the core they belonged together. They complete one another. Trent was like Gracie’s drug. She craved, wanted, and needed him in ways like a drug addict needed their next fix. But at the same time, his love was like medicine and food. As Trent worked his way back into Grace’s heart, will he finally be able to say those words that she needed to hear. Will Trent Hennington be able to Say I’m Yours and not let his fears dictate his heart?

Say I’m Yours is a delicate and beautifully well written story about two flawed individuals who are still navigating through life and matters of the heart. The story of Trent and Grace is a reminder that life is short. Actions speaks louder than words. Loving someone means making yourself vulnerable. And for Trent and Grace, their second chance to make things right was a beautiful, heartbreaking, and raw journey. They allowed readers to see, feel, and understand the many facets of emotions coursing through them whether it be heartbreak, loss, jealousy, hurt, humiliation, forgiveness, or love. These different elements that Corinne compassionately weaved into her story is a testament of what it means to love with no regrets. So if you are looking for a story that was heartwarming, emotional, and real then I highly suggest you read this book as Corinne Michaels will awaken and touch your hearts.
