A sweet uplifting sexy romance that will make hearts flutter. Going Down Easy by Carly Phillips is not your standard billionaire romance where the male hero rescues a damsel in distress. Instead Ms. Phillips presents a story where readers are entranced in the story of two flawed strangers who are dealing with their own personal struggle and family issues.

Kaden Barnes is a successful billionaire who has made his profits with a tech program that rivals other apps. Kaden along with two other friends are on the way to hit it big when their company goes public. But for Kaden nothing is ever easy especially if he has a former friend suing him and his friends for a stake in the company.

Lexi Parker has sacrificed most of her life for her family especially for her twin sister, Kendall, who suffers from bipolar. And to top it off, her mother also suffers from severe depression. With her hands full, Lexi needs this new personal assistant job to keep her sanity alive from all the stress from her personal life.

When Kaden first lays eyes on his new personal assistant, Lexi he was a goner. He wanted her and just felt at ease with her revealing his past. And Lexi too also felt at ease revealing that her mother suffers from severe depression. Soon Lexi and Kaden begin to form more of a deeper relationship where it could lead to something more. But what happens when Kaden’s past comes back and tries to destroy their future?

Going Down Easy is not your standard billionaire romance so that was a major plus. I love that Carly Phillips wrote a story that raises awareness on mental health and the impact it has on not only the person but also the family members. So if you are looking for a story with a strong alpha male hero who is willing to sacrifice and risk it all for love, integrity, and respect then this book is definitely for you.

A bite-sized sweet romance that hits the spot!!! So if you are a fan of best friends to lover romance trope then this book is for you. Veronica Larsen wrote a simple love story where one friend is madly in love with his best friend and is just waiting for the other person to finally take notice and see him. Since this story is such a quick light read, it was only a matter of time till the right guy wins the girl. So if you are looking for a romance that will make you smile then I suggest you to take a bite of this cute love story between two zombie loving best friends.

Bossman was very entertaining, fun, sexy and sweet. This book sucked me in from the beginning and I enjoyed every minute of it. From Chase and Reese’s first encounter, i fell in love. lol. I loved Chase and smart-alec attitude, always fun. I also love Chase’s nickname for Reese “buttercup” and how he came up with it. The guy can share any story and make it believable.

From the beginning Chase never gave Reese anything less than 100%, from his fun fun attitude to his flirtation towards her. Who wouldn’t want a hot boss to be after you? With a promise of a happy ending? I’m sure no one would turn him down, but Reese did. She was worried about the outcome of having an office relationship, but Chase was never the one to back down. Chase kept his chase, until Reese finally gave in. It was hot, it was sexy and it was sweet. But Chase has so much more than just his fun personality, he has also had things buried deep inside and you have to read it to find out. Believe me, you won’t regret it.

I love this book and every book I’ve read from Author Vi Keeland. Each one is such a joy to read and every book leaves me with such a good happy feeling. Love it.

Alexa Riley are back at it again and they are revving our engines as they deliver a steamy and sexy romance. It’s a bittersweet feeling to say goodbye to this fabulous MC series but Alexa Riley rode their readers off to a sugary sweet and sexy HEA. Knox also known as “Scribe” is the club’s hacker and there is nothing he can’t do… except hack his way into Violet’s heart. Violet wants to be part of the club and Knox doesn’t want her because he doesn’t want to put her in harm’s way. The only place that she should be is in his arms. Will Knox be able to hack his way into her feisty heart? And will Violet find herself riding him?

This story was sweet and I loved it. The flashback of Blake and Mia’s childhood was beautiful. I love how it showed us so much of Mia and Blake’s journey to adulthood and how their friendship grew. Their friendship was beautiful and so cute. They made me giggle and gave me such a happy feeling. I loved getting a look at their past, because it was just too cute and sweet. They went through hi and low on their relationship, until they finally really figure out who they were to each other.

Their story is full of moments that will melt hearts and will also break hearts. Their childhood moments were my favorite, because it was so touching and sweet. Their life together wasn’t an easy one, but in the end it ended the way it should have. An enjoyable read, can’t wait to read more.

Knot by M. Mabie is a highly addictive, intense, riveting, and emotionally consuming read that cuts you to the core that will leave you breathless and have you questioning why M. Mabie why must you leave us in knots. And a big part of me already knows the answer if you are familiar with her work, it’s because she can and will continue to deliver those love stories that is angst driven. Mabie will frustrate her readers and yet has the power to consume us with her edgy and raw prose.

A knot is defined as a method of fastening or securing linear material such as rope by tying or interweaving. And in this particular story that is aptly titled Knot, Mabie weaves a love story of two complete opposite and different people who shouldn’t be together and yet are tied together through this magnetic pull. You cannot see the connection but you can feel it. The knots are invisible to the naked eye but their feelings of love, frustration, jealousy, anger are all a jumbled mess of knots. And once you pull on one end of the rope, an unraveling of raw, unfiltered consuming emotions are doused onto the readers as Mabie weaves the past and present.

“I wanted him to fuck this ache inside me so badly. I wanted him to push through the years of strife and take it. Smash it away. And while he was at it, find my fears and make each one submit.”

Reggie and Nora. Two ends on the string. Two complete individuals. Two different personalities. Two people who are from opposite sides of the spectrum. And yet are tangled. As hard you try to untangle them from one another, more knots continue to form until you are left with a bigger knot. And so in this story, Mabie presents a love story that makes readers see a whole bigger perspective. Love can’t be judged. Love can’t be one-sided. And in this knotted love story there is no beginning or end.

“We wanted different things, and we both deserved what we wanted.”

A complicated love story that is simply messy. Nora and Reggie are one of those couples that you want to slap upside on the head and tell them to get their act together. This is not a simple love story that I can say they fell in love, broke up, and got back together. No, their story is just a clusterfuck of heartbreak, frustration, and yearning. Their emotional pain is on a deeper level and so Mabie exposes that to the readers to see that Reggie and Nora are just as flawed and imperfect. Mistakes and choices are made. And yet like a moth to a flame, they fit. Reggie is a one woman kind of man. When he is in a relationship, he’s all in . But with Nora, she’s different and doesn’t want to be tied down. And so will Reggie be able to push his way into her heart and soul, and leave her in knots just as she left him?

I can sit here and tell you why M. Mabie is considered in my books the queen of angst but I think it’s best you read her books and find out for yourself. Knot is one of those stories you love to hate but for some god forsaken reason, M. Mabie pulls you into the shore, anchoring your heart to Reggie and Nora as you await what will happen to this couple. Knot is a unique love story because there is a beginning but there is no end. Yes, there is an ending in the figurative sense but the love of Reggie and Nora are one of those love stories that reminds us all the heart is a bunch of tangled emotions that someone else tied. Just remember every love story has it’s fair share of knots. So if you are looking for a love story that consumes, then I suggest you tie a knot and hold on as M. Mabie will have you holding onto the rope real tight.

May I, just say that I adore A.J. Pine and her heartwarming second installment to The Kingston Ale House Series. And “May I” also just say that Pine has truly proved to romance readers out there that she can indeed write a love story that has chemistry, heart, raw emotions, and playfulness.

Six Month Rule is not your typical office romance trope. First, Pine doesn’t write a love affair that centers on the forbidden aspect of office mingling but instead she highlights and brings forth a love story that centers on two emotionally flawed individuals.

“He spun slowly to face her, and Holly’s heart leaped. His hand rested lightly on her cheek, and then his lips were on hers. There it was. That inexplicable warmth, but Holly knew what it meant now. It meant this was real. What she felt wasn’t fading, and instead of relying on the fact that it would, she let those words loop over and over again along with the rhythm of the kiss.”

Will Evans is British. Yes, I think that alone is enough reason to read this book. Well if being a hot British hero is not enough encouragement for you to read this book then how about HOT BRITISH SINGLE DAD WITH A HEART OF GOLD AND HAS THE CHARM TO LEAVE YOU A BLUBBERING MESS AND WET THOSE KNICKERS. Will’s life has consisted of work, work, and more work. And he is well aware that he is missing these important crucial bonding moments with his daughter, Sophie. And so when Will decided that after this six month project in Chicago that he will slow down and dedicate more time with his daughter. Six months only… well that was the plan until he met Holly Chandler.

When it comes to love, Holly Chandler has these rules. Six months that’s it. Love has never been in the forefront when it comes to Holly’s life since she has plans of moving up in the workforce. And so when she meets Will Evans, the new guy that she will be temporarily working with, she never thought she would find herself breaking her own rules.

May I just say that Holly and Will are too cute for words. Yes, this couple gave me that warm fuzzy feeling and made my heart burst with so much love. Seriously these two, had chemistry and love that was sweet and sticky as molasses. And then to top it off with an adorable seven year old daughter who stole my heart right off the opening pages as she understood that Holly was special. Also, AJ Pine incorporates the aspect of astrological signs into the story line as Holly is obsessed with daily horoscopes. So will the stars and fates aligned for Holly and Will? Or will their six month rule come to an abrupt end? Or are rules meant to be broken? Does love come with an expiration date?

May I just say that AJ Pine has perfectly layered Six Month Rule with so much depth, beauty, charm, and playfulness that readers like myself can FEEL the stars are indeed aligning for Holly and Will. I loved that Pine allowed readers to see this thing blossoming between Will and Holly is real and like any real relationships there are few bumps and hiccups that they must overcome. So if I may say if you are looking for a book that was smart and beautifully well-written, then I urge you to break all the rules when it comes to love because in love there are no rules when it comes to listening to your heart. And of course you get the added bonus of having a British hero who will having you smiling big.

Melissa West has me totally smitten with her No Kissing Allowed Series. After reading the first book of this series, I was hooked and couldn’t get enough of these feel good sweet romance stories. And in her newest installment, No Falling Allowed, Melissa West has me falling hard and begging for more of Noah Hunter and Grace Soaring.

Grace Soaring is the daughter of a self-made billionaire. Noah is completely shocked to see Grace and tries to explain why he had to rush out in the early morning. As much as Grace tries to stay angry with him, she finds herself letting her guards down and letting him. And soon, Grace truly sees Noah, a man who has sacrificed his life in providing for his baby brother. Noah is a simple Southern man who is beloved by the townspeople. As Noah and Grace begin to explore their relationship, what happens when Grace’s time in Cricket Creek comes to an end and she has to return to back to New York? Will Noah’s insecurity of not having enough money stop him from pursuing Grace? Will Grace be able to show Noah that all she wants is him? As Grace falls hard for Noah, will he be able to catch her fall?

No Falling Allowed was one of those sweet reads that will have you totally smitten with West’s charming and beautiful prose. I have always been a sucker when it comes to small town romance and I love that majority of the story line took place in Cricket Creek. I adore the town’s people of Cricket Creek as people tried to meddle and push Noah and Grace together. I think what drew me into enjoying this book was the simplicity of the story and the main focus of Noah and Grace. I love that readers were able to witness their vulnerabilities and insecurities but together these two were able to help and heal each other. So if you are looking for a sweet, charming love story that weaves the elements of friendship and self-discovery then I suggest you fall for Melissa West’s No Falling Allowed.

I have read several Cathryn Fox books but hands down, her newest three part erotic serial has me already eagerly awaiting for book two of the series. Hands On was simply a fun, sexy and entertaining read!! Sometimes, you just need a quick book to relax and unwind and Cathryn Fox provided her readers just that. In this light, carefree read, Cathryn introduces readers to Danielle Lang. Danielle has dedicated her whole life to school in completing her Masters in Psychology. There was no room for romance in Danielle’s life since she was so focused in making a better life for herself after experiencing first hand what it was like living in the foster care system. With tuition loans that needs to be paid as soon as possible, Danielle is forced into taking a job teaching sex therapy. Should be an easy job right to teach a bunch of students sex? Well here lies the problem, Danielle has no experience in sex. She’s a virgin. And so in order for her to teach about sex, why not cash in her V-card with an old high school acquaintance?

Jack Rider is back home after a crippling knee injury has him on the sidelines. While Jack awaits if he can return to the NFL, he runs into the girl that he always had a crush on. Danielle wasn’t like any other girls who flaunted their way into Jack’s pants and he liked that about her. He liked that she’s a bookworm and finds her innocence charming. So when Danielle invites him over to her place, he eagerly accepts. But when Jack arrives and when it comes time to have sex, he notices Danielle is nervous and that’s when she drops the bombshell that she is a virgin and she wants him to teach her about sex or she will find another male to help her. Jack doesn’t want Danielle to learn from anyone else beside him and so begins his hands on lesson with the girl that he never forgotten.
