Be still my heart!!! There is just something about being reunited with Damien and Nikki that makes me giddy with excitement and in J. Kenner’s latest installment in Stark Ever After Series, Kenner more than pleases us in Please Me. Kenner reminded us the palpable and beautiful love story of Damien, Nikki and their family. Since this book is a novella, I will just say Damien will stop at nothing protecting his beloved wife and their family and together these two are the fiercest couple. Their love is passionate, intense and real and so watching these two reconnect and grow stronger is one of the most breathtaking thing. A must read for any Damien and Nikki fans.

Over the Edge by CD Reiss is the perfect title for the conclusion of this series. This book was sexy, erotic, edgy, gritty, and full of surprises. It is definitely one of those reads that you devour in one sitting. Since I practically inhaled this book, I will just say Reiss will take you on one sinful erotic journey but at the same time an emotional one. All I can say is go read this book and series as Reiss showcases how far one goes to fight for their happily ever after.

Big Talking Man by Marquita Valentine is a fun, light and charming second chance read. This book can be read as a standalone but I must forewarn you that the story is interconnected with the knowledge of what occurred in the first book. With that being said, Valentine introduces readers to Quinn and Tate. These two are married but when Quinn lost her brother in a tragic accident, their relationship kind of crumbled. But this time around, Tate is ready to win back his wife. Tate is a man who will stop at nothing to win back her heart. So if you are looking for a romance that was endearing and has a hero that will win your heart then this is the book for you.

Closer by Carmen Jenner was a sexy, intriguing, raw emotional read that completely blew me away and left me speechless. This book was brimming with such an intensity that readers like myself were hypnotized by Jenner’s raw and poetic prose. Closer picks up where it last left off and I must forewarn you that you will be left a beautiful mess of tears because Levi’s story will leave your heart aching. Two broken individuals. Two hearts who have everything to lose. But one epic love story that was a beautiful disaster. Levi and Brielle’s story was unforgettable,breathtaking and had that emotional punch to keep you yearning for more. I will not say much but this is one romance journey that you have to read. With a few twist and unexpected details, Jenner creates a romance that was flawed and yet a beautiful masterpiece.

This book took sexual chemistry to a whole new level as Carrie West and Reid Maxwell were two characters who weren’t meant to fall for each other but soon learns obsession, lust, and love was something that couldn’t be denied.

Reid Maxwell bought Carrie’s father’s company. She hates him. He is intrigued. He doesn’t do romance but there is something about her that draws him to her. As these two fight their sexual attraction, what happens when Reid realizes that he doesn’t want to lose her if she were able to discover his secret?

So if you are looking for a sexy, intriguing, and passionate read that will keep you riveted then Dirty Rich Obsession is a must read. Lisa Renee Jones does a terrific job showcasing her characters attraction and individuality. As always, the writing was on point as it highlighted raw emotions and at that same time intensity.

The Wrong Blaze was such a sexy story full of angst. I enjoyed the back and forth between Oakley and Alec, there was so much chemistry between them and I couldn’t wait for them to get together. When they finally got together, boy was it hot. My eyes were stuck on each and every page, until BAM!! Author Meagan Brandy threw us into a loop. I was lost and I didn’t know how to feel about everything. I didn’t know if I wanted to hug Alec or slap him. I felt this throughout half the book. At times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room, I was fuming. Everything and anything Alec did was so crazy, I couldn’t keep my head straight. I wanted so bad for Oakley and Alex to have everything, I was torn between the pages. I didn’t know how I should feel and oh how I hated that character Marissa, she was such a witch. But knowing who Oakley was and how strong of a woman she was, I trusted that when it comes down to it she will make the right choice for her. What she chose did not disappoint. I’m so glad I pushed through this book, even thought I wanted to strangle Alec at times. It was all worth it in the end.

I also gotta add that at times I felt like I hated Rowan, but in the end. I ended up feeling pity for him. How hard for a strong guy like him to feel lost on who he really was. Finding yourself when you can’t figure out how to..is hard. I wanted to hug him and be the best friend I could be to him. He was such a sweet guy, who deserved the world and I hope only the best for him.

Richer Than Sin by Meghan March was a sexy, bold, addictive romance that was brimming with so much intensity and raw emotions that you couldn’t help but inhale this book in one sitting. Like drinking a fine scotch, March’s writing was smooth, intricate, and intoxicating as readers like myself can’t help but bewitched with the sexual chemistry of Lincoln and Whitney. Since this book is part of a trilogy, I can’t say much of the plot but I will tell you that you will be hooked. A must read in 2018!

Respect by Jay Crownover is a sexy bold suspenseful romance that was brimming with so much intensity and yet had that raw emotional punch of love, yearning, and forgiveness that keeps readers like myself addicted. Karsen and Booker’s story was one that instantly demanded your attention right off the opening pages. It consumed you as you can’t help but be transfixed with their flawed, broken relationship. But most importantly, it was real. Honest. And I applaud Jay Crownover for showcasing that. Not every relationship is a cookie cutter kind and the best kind of love stories are the ones worth fighting for. The ones that gives you hope. And for Crownover to wrap this series up, I want to thank her for giving us these flawed characters who took us on one hell of a roller coaster ride that left us breathless and wanting more. Trust me when I tell you that Booker and Karsen is definitely the kind of story that was unforgettable.
