A continuation of Emma and Brandon’s love story. When the first book ended, I was in shock on where it ended. So I had to read this second book right away. I’m glad I did, which put my mind at ease.
Brandon was misunderstood, he wasn’t two timing Emma liked she thought. I was so glad of that, because there was no way Brandon was doing that to Emma. We get to know more of Brandon’s life and his past with his ex-girlfriend Des. The person who haven’t let go of Brandon at all and will do anything to get him back. Even making up stories and events that would cost Emma and Brandon’s love. She didn’t care she was such a bitch and didn’t care who she hurt, as long as she got her Brandon back.
This book was a little bit emotional, the roller coaster ride that Emma and Brandon goes through. Brandon is such a great buy, that he will do what’s right by Des. I hated Des for what she did to the couple who were so in love, but lost because of what she caused.
When the truth finally came out with the help of Damian, I was relieved. Emma and Brandon finally can be together. They deserved every happiness, specially after what Des put them through.
In the short about of time that Damian was in the story, I learned to love him. Yes he was a hot and cocky, but he was a good guy at heart. He may be a manwhore, but he respected it when women said no. He became a good friend to Emma when she needed someone the most and stayed friends with her through it all. I actually hope he gets a story of his own, so I can read more about him. He was such an interesting character.
Thanks for sharing your book with with Ms Jessica Wood. I cannot wait to sink into The Chase, which have been waiting for me in my Kindle. =)
