Stealing Christmas is a very sweet, insta-love holiday treat from the ladies of Alexa Riley. Christmas is an innocent virgin heroine who gets summoned to her boss’ mansion and it is told that she belongs to him. Yup, you gotta love that insta-love romance from Alexa Riley. And from then on, Christmas gets her stocking stuffed by Nicholas Light. So if you are ready to deck the halls with a sweet and innocent love story then get to unwrap this holiday treat.

As much as I enjoy reading an Ella James book, Crown Jewels was just okay for me. It was a good book since I liked the premise of a reality TV starlet and a real life prince getting together and then their one night stand leads to an unexpected pregnancy. That synopsis sold me so I was holding high expectations for this book but sadly I couldnâ€™t connect to the characters since I was overwhelmed with so many secondary characters. As much as I wanted to like the hero and heroine, they just didnâ€™t stand out with all the madness and chaos that was surrounding them. I know others will enjoy this type of book but unfortunately I found this book to be just standard.

Words I Couldn’t Say is a beautiful exploration of love, sacrifices, truth, forgiveness, and second chances. Tessa Teevan didn’t need to do much in order for me to read this book as she captured and tugged my heart with every facets of love. She allowed readers to feel the power and promise of real love. Real love doesn’t die and have no ending. And so if you are ready to give your heart and trust in Tessa’s promises in prose, then get ready to the know the words of real love.

Helena Hunting has inked, tattooed, and ingrained herself into the literary community as an author that deserves to be spotlighted and honored. If you have read Helena’s Pucked Series, then you are all aware that she can write smart, funny, and sexy romance but did you know that she can also write gripping heartfelt angsty romance?

The first time I read Clipped Wings, I was hooked. I needed, wanted, and craved for Helena’s writing as I was obsessed with these cast of emotionally broken characters. So when I found out that she was going to continue the series and write Fractures In Ink, I was ecstatic. Well, that is putting it mildly since I was over the top eager to get my greedy bookworm hands on this book and couldn’t wait to read Chris and Sarah’s story. And let me just say, this book was worth the wait as it was a phenomenal breathtaking read.

Fractures In Ink is one of those rare angsty reads that grips your heart to the core. Helena beautifully tackles this heartbreaking, poignant, visceral, and emotionally charged romance in a brilliant and tangible fashion that it leaves a ripple effect. This book consumes you in a way that as a reader you feel for the emotional journey of Sarah and Chris.

If you read Clipped Wings Series then you are well aware that Chris and Sarah are somewhat in a relationship. This relationship is not your standard girlfriend/boyfriend as Sarah and Chris never really defined what is going between them. It is a relationship that is kind of understood that they both deeply care for each other but they are both holding back in revealing their past.

This is a job that she is eager to be over with especially with the fact that her boss is slimy, calculating, cruel and manipulative who wants nothing more for Sarah to be one of the strippers on stage.

As Chris and Sarah navigate what their relationship is, Chris’s family and past comes barreling back as he tries to financial support his half sister and dependent mother. Chris is well aware that his mom is a punching bag for his step-father and so he does his best to keep his goodhearted sister from experiencing any hardship. This emotional burden of seeing his sister suffer from the hands of her father is something that angers Chris. But this burden is something that Chris carries alone that is until Sarah begs him to let her in?

Sarah is also an emotionally flawed character as well. She too also knows what it is life to grow up in hardship and so she vows and promises herself to make a better life for herself and get educated. On her road to fulfilling her dreams, her job as a waitress soon becomes a huge burden for Sarah as her boss tries to blackmail and push her into doing special “dances” for clients.

Chris is well aware that Sarah is too good for him. She is on the right path to make her life better. And so begins the emotional aspect of two broken people trying to make their relationship work. This is not a perfect relationship and that’s what makes this relationship so special as Helena Hunting allows readers to absorb the raw vulnerability, insecurity, fears, pain, and love that Chris and Sarah have for each other. So can two emotionally flawed individuals discover the beauty of fractures in the ink?

Emotionally consuming and addictive is the only way I can sum up reading Fractures In Ink. This book was everything that I had expected Helena Hunting to deliver. She held you hostage not only with her stunning prose but with also her flawed characters. The writing was phenomenal as each raw emotions was not only felt but absorbed. My heart ached for Chris and Sarah and at the same time, my heart was filled with an abundance of love and admiration for their love, sacrifices, and hope for a better future. So if you are looking for a book to get lost in, then I highly recommend you to read Fractures In Ink as this book was a visceral literary masterpiece that was both angsty and heartfelt.

Say You’re Mine by Jenika Snow is a very sweet, straightforward story. If you read the blurb, then you practically know what to expect. I won’t reveal much since this is a very short read but if you are fans of Alexa Riley’s books then this book might be on your radar since Jenika Snow did incorporate that best friends to lovers trope and the virgin aspect. This book was enjoyable but I wished the author kept the story line moving forward instead of repeating the lines of “ you’re mine since it was already given. I guess I just wanted an equal balance of sweet and steam when reading these type of light read. But if you are looking for a very sweet best friends romance story, then this book might be for you.

Karina Halle is one those authors that continues to deliver stories that are full of heat, passion, intensity, and heart. And in her latest new release, Karina whips up a love story that was intense, visceral, raw, and emotionally compelling. Heat Wave was more than a love story but it was a story of getting a second chance at fate. Honestly, the beauty of this book is getting lost in the pages and the characters so I urge readers to go into reading this book blind. Let Karina fill your heart with hope, love, and beauty as two people get their second chance to make things right. All there is left to say, go feel the love and absorb the literary canvas of raw emotions.

K.Bromberg whips up a sugary romance that was deliciously sweet, sexy, and steamy!!! A pinch of sass, a teaspoon of drama, a sprinkle of steam, and a cup of love was all that was needed for K. Bromberg’s newest release, Sweet Cheeks.

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore K. Bromberg and has been a big fan of her Driven Series and so when I discovered that she ventured out into a new romance, I couldn’t wait to get my grabby hands on this book. And boy oh boy, did K. Bromberg nailed it. Sweet Cheeks was the perfect blend of steam, banter, sexual tension, and romance.

With her charismatic characters and beautiful heart filled story line, K. Bromberg has readers like myself totally smitten with Saylor and Hayes. Since this book was a fast paced second chance romance, I don’t want to say much since the best part of this book is getting lost as two former lovers reconnect and rekindle their romance. So if you are ready to get whisked away in a romance that was sugary sweet and sticky as molasses then this book is for you.

A sexy symphony of laughter, banter, charm, steam, and entertainment!! Kristen Callihan delivered a love story that hooked me right off the opening pages. From her witty and smart dialogue, readers will be smittened with Sophie Darling and Gabriel Scott.

As much as I enjoyed Idol, I loved Managed. This book was fresh, smart, funny, and wildly entertaining. There was never a dull moment with this read as Callihan sophisticatedly layers the brewing love connection of Gabriel and Sophie with raw emotions and vulnerabilities. I loved that how Callihan allowed readers to see behind the facade and laughter as two characters search and look for the same thing. LOVE.

She is dangerous because I cannot control her. And she is utterly beautiful, like molten glass that tempts you to touch even though you know you’ll be burned.”

Sophie was a fresh breath of air. She was the reason why I couldn’t put this book down. Her inner monologue was hilarious and witty. Trust me, it won’t take you long to fall in love with her and wish she was your new best friend. And as for the hero, Gabriel, what can I say but this British lad doesn’t need to beat down your door in order for you to let him in. The way Callihan presented and brought together Sophie and Gabriel was a riot of entertainment. I loved how they interacted and balanced one another.

I honestly don’t want to say much on the story since I don’t want to ruin the fun of the story line but I will just say that Callihan did an amazing job highlighting and weaving important aspects of family, love, trust, and second chances. She did it with such finesse that readers can’t help but to give their literary hearts to her as she douses so much fun laughter, sass, and sexiness. The writing was smart and smooth that everything flowed at an excellent pace. So if you are looking for a love story that was a perfect blend of charm, laughter, and romance then Managed is definitely the book for you.
