A sticky sweet as molasses romance! Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward are back at it again with their latest romance, Hate Notes. This book took romance to another level with it happily ever after as this book was more of an emotional gripping second chance story. For Charlotte Darling, her happily ever after story had a different ending when she goes to sell her unused wedding dress at second hand shop. While there she spots a beautiful wedding dress and discovers a love note hand stitch into the dress from Reed Eastwood.

Charlotte a hopeless romantic imagines Reed to be prince charming but as it turns out, he is nothing what she imagined. Instead of love note she gets hate notes. And to top it off, he’s her boss. So can Charlotte break the hard exterior of Reed with her bright disposition? If you are looking for a romance full of heat, romance, and lots of emotions then this book is for you.

Hate Notes is a slow moving love story. The story of Reed and Charlotte is a very mellow story. It’s not the usual Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward’s fun and fast moving story. This love story is sad, but beautiful. Charlotte is such a sweet girl who wanted to live her life to the fullest and I love that Reed helped her complete f*ck list as much as he could. Their journey through her list was fun and crazy at times. I especially love the way they met and the hatred they had towards each other. Hatred that turned into friends, then into lovers. Can I saw wow, what a perfect Epilogue. Such sweet, sweet ending. I’m so in love with Reed.

Addictive. Yup, that one word pretty much sums up Aleatha Romig’s latest dark and sinful read, Secrets. This book consumes you right from the start from her lush, decadent and devious prose. Did I mention that she has brought her A game when it comes to alpha a-holes? Sterling Sparrow is an enigma. He is that character you can’t help but be drawn to. His persona oozes right off the pages and in such you will be obsessed with him like I was. His strong magnetic pull is one of the many reasons to fall in love with this twisted and brilliant read. Aleatha Romig also creates a story that was high with sexual tension and chemistry. I seriously can’t wait for the next installment since this book reminded me why I loved Romig’s dark, twisty and seductive reads.
