This is a great sequel to For Nicky, but For Nicky still over powers the Beckett story. This book is about Audrey's redemption, how she changed and how she got there. I felt for her and what she went through in the past. Her past struck a cord in me and I just cannot imagine a child going through what she went through. The path that she chose to take after what she went through was a destructive one. It took a lot from everyone to make her see what she was doing to herself and others around her, especially to the one's she loves. This book shows Audrey growing up and her battle to becoming a better person. When you read the book you will agree that she completely redeemed herself, from all the bad things she did in the past. Having such a great family helped her a lot, also Nicky and Nate had a lot to do with it.
On Audrey's way to finding herself, she met the love of her life Jeremiah Jordan. He is the sweetest and most understand guy, who has a special needs cutest little boy name Beckett. He is the smartest little 4yr old you will ever meet. He reminds me of a younger Nicky, so insightful, forgiving and loving person.
Audrey struggled to be the better person throughout the book and Beckett is what helped her a lot. In her mind, no matter what she did, she will never be good enough for Jeremiah and Beckett.
"The man is beyond good and I still don't feel like I deserve him, but I'm going to work my ass off to make sure he's never disappointed for choosing me. Did I really tell my first actual boyfriend that I love him for the first time in a skating rink? Yep, that actually happened. I had to smile at it; it was sort of just 'us'."

What I love most of how the book ended is it gave me a glimpse of the lives of all the characters, even Nicky. Which is totally worth it to read. I am so much more in love with Nate after reading this book, he is nothing but a great guy.
