Kristen Proby is one of those authors for me that is an auto-buy. I know that I don't have to read any blurbs from any of her books to know that I'm not only going to buy it, but completely devour it. Breathe With Me was no exception.
I'm not even sure I can articulate my love for this series, but it's going to be even harder for me to articulate my feelings for this book. But here goes...in a single word: perfection.
This story had all the elements that I absolutely love. It's a second-chance love story with so many emotional points that constantly had the butterflies swirling and my face smiling. With every turn of the page (and yes, I read an early release in paperback...thank you, Kristen!!) I found myself falling more in love with these characters.
Mark and Meredith are young first loves. When they separate, both with broken hearts, they each try desperately to move on. A tragedy brings them face-to-face after 10 years.
Breathe With Me is sweet and funny, yet steamy as hell. Mark definitely holds his own with the likes of Luke, Nate, Will, Leo, and Caleb.
As with the other books in this series, the Montgomery's, the Williams', and McKenna's all make their much welcome appearances, as well as some new faces.
I've been a fan from book one, but this is by far my favorite of the series. Breathe With Me is one of my favorite reads of the year.
