Chasing River by K.A. Tucker is a compelling, addictive, and touching read that reminds us all that love can knock you off your feet when you least expect it. So far, this book is my favorite of the Burying Water Series. I loved everything about this book from it's real, raw, poignant, and beautiful journey of two strangers as their worlds collide.

Amber Welles has lived an ordinary simple life and when she embarks on a bucket list of places to travel, she didn't expect that she will have a near death experience while she was in Ireland. Luckily for her, a stranger came to her rescue. River Delaney never thought his world would turned upside down when he comes to the rescue of Amber. The collision of Amber and River sets forth an emotional journey and bond that connects these two. Two lives and hearts collide for one unforgettable journey as these two come to terms with River's troubled past and Amber's struggle with the truth.

Chasing River is a beautiful sweet story that unfolds and connects two unlikely strangers. This book had everything I wanted in a story. The writing was beautifully well done that readers like myself could feel the tangible bond between Amber and River. I loved that Ms. Tucker didn't just give us an ordinary love story but a well-developed realistic story of the self-discovery, friendship, family, and the ongoing problems that occur in Ireland. She allowed her readers to feel the emotional struggle and vulnerabilities that River and Amber experiences. What I loved the most about this book was the unexpected love and friendship Amber discovers while she was in Ireland. It is reminder to all us the best kind of love story is when you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. And it's the unexpected that changes the life of Amber and River.
