Touchdown!!! Cue in my fan girl dance!!!! Stacey Lynn has me rooting, cheering and going crazy for the Rough Riders and it’s hottest young quarterback, Beaux Hale.
Beaux Hale is Rough Riders newest hottest quarterback who is riding the high of winning the Super Bowl last season. He has swarms of groupies ready to be all up on his jock. He can simply smile and show his abs and there would be a line-up of ladies waiting to make him their baby daddy. Beaux is well aware that he is sexy AF and so when he meets a woman, who doesn’t fall for his flirtatious ways right away he is intrigued by Paige Halloway.

Paige Halloway is barely surviving. Unlike all her friends, Paige has sacrificed her life to working non-stop to pay the medical needs of her father, who has suffered some paralysis from a stroke. Raised by a single father, Paige will do anything for her dad. Her dad is her everything and so if it means sacrificing friends and her love life, Paige is willing to do that.
When the Rough Riders team stops by the diner that Paige is waitressing at, she is excited but her mood turns to angry especially when she hears Beaux Hale telling his teammates that he wants Paige in his bed. So right away Paige is turned off by Beaux.
Beaux may have been crude with his remarks and regrets that Paige overheard that and so he is quick to apologize. It is then that Beaux realize why he is so drawn to Paige because it reminds him of his mom, who worked nonstop to support her family.

Once Paige forgives Beaux, she quickly learns that Beaux is not what she would expect. He is actually very sweet and down to earth. The more time she spends with Beaux, she quickly falls for him as he totally understands and respects her devotion to her dad. It didn’t take long for Beaux to fall in love with her as well. With all the media spotlight on Beaux, will he able to balance his career and his personal relationship with Paige?
Filthy Player is a sports romance that is interconnected with Dirty Player but can most definitely be read as a standalone. I loved the Filthy Player as this book incorporated heat, romance, family, and raw emotions. Stacey Lynn definitely orchestrated the perfect play by play in Paige and Beaux’s relationship as she did great showcasing the balance of sex, love and life. So if you are looking for a sports romance that was filled with lots of heart and charm, then I highly recommend you to read this book. I hope Stacey Lynn will continue to write more on the Rough Riders players because I am already hooked.
