Flirting with Scandal by Chanel Cleeton was one hot, sexy, politically charged, provocative and deliciously scandalicious read!! I absolutely LOVED this book and could not put it down!!! This was my first read from this author and it definitely won't be my last. Ms. Cleeton did an amazing job with this political romance that was brimming with angst, sex, drama, emotions, love and of course scandals. There are not enough of words to describe how addicted and hooked I was to the story-line and writing. Ms. Cleeton did not just give us an ordinary love story but she went beyond that when she allowed her readers to see the dirty games and tactics of politicians, reporters, and the elite. So when emotions and love collide and a political seat is on the line, what will one choose? In Washington D.C., where image and reputation is everything, will a romantic affair and a long kept secret destroy everything for an upcoming senator and the woman he loves? Will love be enough to salvage a political scandal?

Jacqueline Gardner hates politicians. Well for her, she has a reason to hate them since she was an illegitimate daughter of an esteemed Senator. For twenty one years, her estranged father didn't acknowledge her and wanted nothing to do with her and her mother. And that's fine by her, since she promised herself that she doesn't want anything to do with him but she will make a name for herself and prove to him that she can be successful on her own. There are not enough words to describe how much William Clayton wanted Jackie. Just a simple touch and he wanted to throw her up against the wall and kiss her senselessly. The attraction that Jackie and Will had for one another was so palpable and tangible that they couldn't deny their feelings for one another any longer. They knew they were playing fire if they were caught. Jackie knew her job would be at risk and Will's political career could be ruined if the public were to know that she was an illegitimate child of Senator Reynolds. So when a mole in Will's campaign exposes their secret relationship, will it end any chance and hope for Will to be Senator? Flirting With Scandal was one of those reads you can't put down!!! And how could you not when this book was brimming with sexiness, dirty talks, politics, romance, scandal and love. The romantic connections that Ms. Cleeton was able to display and describe in her book was unmistakably palpable and tangible. Raw pure emotions and love was pouring out of this book that showcased two strong characters finding a deep bond of love, admiration, and future together. The writing in this book was phenomenally well done and crafted since the author weaved so many elements to this book that had you begging for more. So if you are looking for a book filled with romance and scandal, then I highly recommend you to read Flirting with Scandal by Chanel Cleeton.
