She's a nerd and has a hot hockey man whore best friend. SOLD!!! So if you love those best friends to lover romance, then I think you might enjoy this sweet and fun book of a young woman crossing off her bucket list of reinventing herself. Say goodbye to the shy nerdy girl and say hello to the sexy bombshell who is willing to let hair down and have some fun in college with the help of her best friend. So when Lyla reinvents herself, will Beck see his friend in a whole new light? And when sparks begins to fly between Lyla and Beck, will he distances himself from her when new family problems begins to arise? So can the good girl win the heart of the man who knew from the beginning that she didn't need to reinvent herself since she was beautiful from the start?
Getting Lucky Number Seven was a fun and sweet read. It was pretty straightforward and had humor and a bit of family drama intertwined into the story line. And like I said, if you love friends to lovers stories then you might want to check out this book.
