An adorable sweet romance!!!!! I have read a few books from Robin Covington and I must say that Her Secret Lover hits the spot if you are looking for a light, quick, sexy romantic read. Ms. Covington has me smitten with this budding romance of a hotel concierge assistant and a NYT Bestselling romance author.

Micah Holmes is in Las Vegas for a Romance Book Convention, where tons of romance readers would gather to meet their favorite authors. Micah Holmes a former Marine, now turned romance author has fans flocking to see him. He is consider the next Nicholas Sparks. And as one of the top-grossing romance authors, he is consider VIP in the publishing community. So when he meets the personal concierge assigned to him, he couldn't help his attraction to Kelsey Kyle.
Micah has written so many books on love but never really could say that he was really in love that is until Kelsey Kyle walked into his life. Kelsey knew she should stay away from Micah since she was putting her job on the line. But this connection was something Kelsey was willing to risk. As Kelsey and Micah entangles themselves in this heated, tangible and palpable connection, what happens when her boss finds out that she is mixing business with pleasure? And what happens when Micah discovers a secret that Kelsey is hiding? Can something so wrong feel so right? Micah has been writing stories with that HEA ending that his fans love, so will this author be writing his own HEA with Kelsey?

Her Secret Lover was a fast paced romance that is light on angst in which I found refreshing with the story of Micah and Kelsey. I loved that author kept the story engaging and was able to show this intense connection that Micah and Kelsey felt for one another. I also loved that the author still added a bit of playfulness with the story when describing how signings can be both nerve-wrecking for both author and fans. So if you are looking for a romance that was fun, sexy and romantic, then I would definitely recommend this book. Thank you Ms. Covington for reminding us that we write our own story and happily ever after.
