Ink & Lies was a fun, witty and sweet. Ms. Jennings truly delivered a story that was filled with humor, vulnerability and raw characters. She did not just give us an ordinary friends to lover story but she gave readers a fun spin on the happily ever after. It is often said we make our own stories and ending. So in this story, the ink is fresh and never runs dries because the story of the happily ever after is how we choose to write it so in a sense we each have to get in touch with our own inner Hope Hughes. And all we need to do is tap into our inner hopeless romantic and write that line, page, chapter and journey in our life. And just maybe we can end our story with a HEA ending. So if you are in the mood for a light entertaining sweet read and are a hopeless romantic then this book is for you because SL Jennings truly delivers a love story with her heartfelt prose that will make us laugh, cry, swoon and smile.
