Bold. Raw. Uncut. Honest. Beautiful. The Naked Truth. Those are the only words that I can describe this heartfelt and powerful book. It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover is one of those rare reads that speaks to you on a deeper and meaningful level. The writing was flawless. The characters were flawed. And the raw poignant and beautiful emotions spoke the naked truth.
So how can a book with flawed characters be perfect? It’s simple. This book doesn’t hide anything. It doesn’t sweep anything under the rug. Every bad mistake, choice, love, and action are laid bare for everyone to see that your happiness lies solely in your hands.

I honestly don’t want to recap on what I just read but I want to tell you why this book needs to be read. Here’s the naked truth. We all can say we should of done this, why doesn’t the person leave, or have a plethora of excuses. But in all honesty, you can’t say it until you have lived it. And so I would like to thank Colleen Hoover for writing such an engrossing, inspirational, bold, and raw story of love, second chances, hope and new beginnings. So I think it's fitting that I conclude this review with a letter to CoHo.

Dear Colleen,
Thank you. Thank you for writing a story that strips you bare and exposes every insecurity, flaw, beauty, and vulnerability. Thank you for writing a story that is more than just romance. Thank you for writing a story that inspires, gives hope, and most importantly provide comfort to every Lily out there. Thank you for being awesome. Thank you for your heartfelt prose. And lastly, thank you for the story of Atlas, Lily, and Ryle. ~Michelle, a girl who is still swimming. xo

Wow! That’s one word I use to describe this book. I am in awe. I knew I made a mistake picking a weekday to read this beautiful book, I want to kick myself for starting it on a Monday. I knew I should have waited to read on the weekend, but I just couldn’t help it. It’s Colleen Hoover come one. So there I was, reading late at night, when I should be sleeping and I hate that I had to stop reading because I needed sleep. ARGH!
So far 39% of the book, has got a good grip on me. I love Lily, she is a beautiful person and so kind. What she did for Atlas is so much, she deserves so much for it. Then there’s her new relationship with Ryle, melt my heart a bunch of times before halfway through the book Ms Colleen Hoover why don’t you. This book is so beautiful and emotional, that I cannot stop myself from reading it.
Of course I cannot forget to mention how much I love Ryle’s sister, she was so lovable.
Day 2 of Reading…
This book completely drowned me on the bottom of the ocean and didn’t let me come up for air until I was done. This story made me feel so many things while reading. I’ve laughed, fallen in-love and cried. The life that Lily had to go through was so much. She had a beautiful life, until she didn’t…but Lily was a strong woman and she made it all through her heartbreak and pain…until she found herself again. I loved Lily for staying true to herself and for staying strong. No matter how much heartbreak and the pain she had to endure, she did what she had to.
As I cried, reading through this book with blurred eyes, I couldn’t help but feel Ryle, Atlas and Lily’s pain. They all went through so much and I couldn’t love any of one of them any less than the other. They were all good people, who were in bad situations as Ryle’s had said.
This book was sexy, beautiful, emotional, gripping and so addicting. Even though the Epilogue was a bit fast, it was still the quickest, most beautiful ending anyone could ask for.
