When Chelsea meets Damien the first few times, he was standoffish. It was quiet a meet up, more like a stare off. But what seemed like hate from Damien quickly turned into a very close friendship between the two. Damien was straight forward and tells it like it is, but Chelsea was sweet and wore her heart on her shoulders. They were a match made in heaven, if only Damien would give Chelsea a chance. While Chelsea tried to keep her feelings for Damien at bay, Damien was sending Chelsea mix signals from left to right. While his words were meant to keep her away, his eyes told another story. As Chelsea tries to keep the friendship going and working hard to not give up on her feelings for Damien, she was slowly breaking down. How much can a girl take before her heart completely shatters? Read and find out.
WARNING: Before reading, get yourself ready to be an emotional wrecked and to fall in love over and over again. Of course be ready for holy hotness and bathroom sex and more..
I truly enjoyed this story, it made me laugh, cry and very emotional. Penelope Ward always pulls me in with her every story. Her words just flow and sucks me in every time. I can never get enough of her stories each and every time. This book was a real gem. Loved it.

Neighbor Dearest is another hit for me! Penelope Ward knows just how to create her bad boy characters. As soon as Damien is introduced in the book, you will be turning the page like there's there's no tomorrow. He is one mysterious hot guy in a beanie, who has supersonic ears and a grumpy artist who owns two giant dogs. Chelsea who just been dumped by her boyfriend Elec. And now Chelsea's left with a shattered heart. She moves into a new apartment which is also right next door to a smoking hot tattooed guy. She's not looking to get involved with anyone after her painful breakup with her ex-boyfriend but with Damien next door is going to be hard to resist since he's all she can think of. As for Damien, he does not want to commit and drag anyone down with him due to a secret he is carrying. He's closed himself off but somehow he's struggling to keep his guard up while living next to his new neighbor. They will both deny the brewing chemistry they both feel. But for how long can they both resist the pull they both feel towards each other?
Neighbor Dearest is an emotional romance read and not one to be missed. A one captivating love story and very addictive. I can't wait for Penelope Ward's next book.
