Reading Now Leaving Sugartown is a bittersweet read for me. If you must know, I am a bit sad to say goodbye to the Sugartown cast since this series made me a fan of Carmen Jenner and I absolutely love and adore her.

Now Leaving Sugartown was a heartbreaking emotional read. Carmen has a way of making her readers FEEL but Now Leaving Sugartown was something different. All the emotions were so RAW and made you really feel for Sammy and Pepper. I wasn't expecting this book to break my heart and feel so much pain and sadness for Sammy and Pepper so it completely surprised me on how tragic and yet beautiful Carmen was able to tell their story. What I love about Carmen's book is that she gives you HEART, GRIT, and lots of STEAMY scenes. She never fails to give her readers a full story.
This book is all about FEELS and experiencing the journey of Pepper and Sammy. This was more than a romance story but a tale of two people learning to cope, lean on each other for support, and rekindle a love and bond that can withstand the years. A love that was meant to be. What I love about this book was the message that sometimes you have to let go especially knowing the person you love needs help. I honestly can say Sammy stole my heart especially towards the end of the book. His devotion and love for Pepper just made me SIGH!!!
I honestly don't want to say goodbye to Sugartown but I am beyond happy that Ms. Carmen brought us Elijah, Ana, Holly, Jackson, Sammy and Pepper!! Once again, Carmen will tug your heartstrings with her honest, raw and beautiful storytelling.
