The Sinners of Saints Series is my drug. My euphoria. Obsession. Addiction. It is everything that I want, crave and need. And it’s supplier is L.J. Shen. If you haven’t heard who is L.J. Shen, then you better get on it. This is an author who deserves to have your complete attention. Shen is beyond talented as this author can turn a wicked erotic romance into an unforgettable experience where you will be left begging for more.

Scandalous is my very much highly anticipated read this fall. I know Viscious will always be my favorite but there was just something about Trent Rexroth that called to me. Maybe it’s the fact that he is the silent one. That guy in the shadow that you don’t necessarily pay attention to at first. But boy oh boy, Trent stole this book. He was the very essence as to why you have to be careful of the silent ones, they are indeed the most dangerous. And in this story where you must be outsmart one another, Trent is one man you don’t want to cross with.

Edie Van Der Zee is eighteen years old and has no plans to go to college. The ocean is her home. And surfing is her sanctuary. Edie grew up with money and status but Edie is anything but spoiled. Edie is far from what everyone seems to perceive her to be. Her father cut off all financial ties not because he want Edie to stand up on her two feet but because he is ruthless and manipulating. He wants to control Edie and will use his power to pull the strings and pull Edie along for the ride.

Trent Rexroth is very much well aware that he needs to stay clear of Edie, the daughter of his business partner and enemy. But like a moth to a flame, she tempts him. Her feisty and bold personality calls to him. This sexual tension that was brewing between them was deafening. It was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.

In order for Edie to get out of her father’s reign, she must do his dirty work. Get close to Trent and get the information that her father needs in order to get rid of Trent from the board. As Edie agrees to the terms, she is torn. Torn in helping her cruel father because if not, he can destroy everything she loves. And most importantly torn in what her heart, mind, and soul knows what is right.

As Edie tries to get close to Trent, she soon finds herself getting close to Trent’s daughter. In this dangerous game of cat and mouse, two hearts will soon collide. A relationship built on duplicity, lies, secrets, lust, passion, and control becomes one scandalous affair that neither of them saw coming.

The push and pull. The sexual tension. The heat. The lies. The lust. The power struggle. The passion. All this and so much more was deafening. Scandalous was everything. It was sheer brilliance and perfection. It had raw emotions and an erotic sexual energy that consumed you. The writing was magnetic. Honestly, it was hypnotic. The characters were flawed individuals who had this gravitational pull to suck you into the proverbial rabbit hole, where you didn’t want to leave. Edie and Trent were napalm. They were an explosion waiting to happen and yet you couldn’t walk away from them.

All I can say is Scandalous was an addicting, wicked, sexy, passionate, and unconventional romance. This book was a symphony of all the right elements coming together. So are you ready to discover why so many readers are loving this series, then I suggest you better one click this book now.
