Do you believe in fate? Destiny? How about when you meet someone and feel that "spark"? You know the spark that gives you the warm fuzzy feelings, the goosebumps, and the beating of the heart that can't be explained but felt. That connection that you know that you were supposed to be with that one person. That person who gets you. The one who sees you. Well in this case, when Crew meets Hudson, he felt that spark. That pull and connection that you knew this person was the game changer. The one person who sparked and breathed new life into your soul.

With the strong attraction and pull to Hudson, Crew begins to find hope and love. She ignites a new sense of happiness in Crew's grey world. The once carefree Crew, who could get any woman he wants, wants only one person. Hudson, on the other hand is the innocent, virgin woman who has an old soul. She grew up in a household full of love and has this kindred spirit of generosity and humanity. So when Crew's family begins to look for an alternative medication for Crew's younger brother, who suffers from a debilitating illness that causes seizures, Hudson and her family offers Crew's family an alternative medication of marijuana to help combat the seizures. A new hope begins to emerge for Crew and his family. A sense that everything will be alright and things are beginning to look up for the family.

Meanwhile, sparks and attraction begins to surface when Crew and Hudson crosses the line of friendship and into something more. A new romance begins to emerge as these two kindred spirits begins to unite. Soon strong sparks of love begins to ignites causing an intense wildfire of love. But when the fire gets so big and out of control, can Crew manage to keep the spark and connection alive when he receives terrible news. When Crew finally found the light, is that spark strong enough to stay ignited or will it be embers in the ashes?

Spark is told in a dual POV, which allows readers to feel the vulnerabilities and raw emotions of Hudson and Crew. The story grips you to the core on the emotional struggle of life, love, and remorse. Ms. Noelle did an excellent job in showcasing how flawed these characters were and I think that's what makes them so special because of how real they felt. The beauty of this book was the simplicity of their love. It was just two people uniting and finding love, comfort, and understanding within each other. It was a love story that was simple yet complex, deep, and meaningful. It is true when they say love heals because in this case, love healed the hearts of not just two people but as well as he secondary characters. Ms. Noelle did an excellent job in writing a beautiful poignant tale of love, life, forgiveness, and second chances. So if you are looking for a book with that special spark, then I suggest you go read SPARK.
