A sweet, decadent, and sticky as molasses romance that will have you salivating for more! In Nina Lane’s fifth installment of the Sugar Rush Series, Ms. Lane saves the creme de la creme for last as Sugar Rush’s CEO, Warren Stone is ready to enjoy the holidays and settle down. And this time, Warren has set his sights on the ice queen that has owned his heart for the past thirteen years.

Julia is the aunt to Warren’s seven children, as she is the sister of Warren’s deceased wife, Rebecca. As the sister in law, Julia gave up her life in London to help raised her sister’s children and to help Warren out. For the past thirteen years, her friendship with Warren has been filled with lots of banter and sexual tension that is until when one fateful night, both of them finally acted on their attraction to one another.
Julia and Warren were fire and ice. Sweet and savory. In other others, they complimented one another. It was passion like no other. As much as Julia wanted to surrender to her desires, she fears how her niece and nephews would react and also what it would do to the memory of her sister. So will Warren Stone be able to thaw his ice queen and show her the sweet life?

Sweet Life is one sweet and sexy read. This book definitely took romance to a new high as Nina Lane treated her readers to a love story with a much older couple who have certain obstacles ahead of them. I really enjoyed this book as Lane showcased all the themes and elements that I am a fan of. She gave us a family story that was high on love, passion, unity, and loyalty. So if you are looking for a romance to deck the halls with then I highly recommend you to read this book.
