If you are a fan of bodyguard romance then The Colonel's Daughter by Amy Andrews is the book for you. In this quick read, Ms. Andrews has incorporated a bit of suspense, drama, and romance all into this book. Without spoiling the story for the readers, Ms. Andrews has managed to turn a bodyguard romance with a touch of innocence and sexual tensions as Seth and Ivy are locked away in room as dangers threatens Ivy's safety. While being locked away in a room, Seth tries to keep Ivy away but his attraction to her will be tested as he tries not to mix business with pleasure but the only problem is what if Ivy only wants pleasure. So can Seth resist the Colonel's daughter?

The Colonel's Daughter was a quick read.It was definitely a fast paced romantic book that I did liked but at times I felt the story line was a bit rushed when it came to the suspense and romance aspect. I wished the romance between Seth and Ivy wasn't so rushed with the I love you's and that Ivy was more of a mature character. But overall, I did like the story since it was a quick romantic story of innocence, a bit of suspense and romance.
