This story is about the Most Married-est Town on Earth. The town that is all about weddings and of course their Annual The Husband Games. This town also has a QG = Queen General named Marilyn, who basically bosses everyone in town and controls everything. As the Married-est Town, she hates dealing with divorce folks and Natalie is one of them. The person with a target on her back as far as Marilyn’s concern. Marilyn will do anything to ruin or get rid of Natalie, because in her opinion, Natalie is the lowest of the lowest.
Natalie is a divorced single mom, who does everything for her town, especially taking care of setting up The Husband Game for the sake of her late mother. Poor thing is judge left to right, not because they think she’s a bad person..she’s great. They judge her because she’s divorced, no matter how much Natalie has done for the town it didn’t matter.
Then there’s C.J., a widower. His wife died in the line of fire and he is still regretting not being a better husband to her while she was still alive. So to honor her memory, he decided to join The Husband Games.
Natalie and C.J. had a little something in the past and when they started spending time together, feelings started surfacing. C.J. knowing that he isn’t around to stay, he tried to push his feelings aside, no matter how much is heart is telling him to stay for Natalie and her precious boy Noah. As for Natalie, her knowing that C.J. will be leaving town right after The Husband Games, Natalie pushed him away before he could leave her.
Will these two keep trying to fight their feelings for each other, because they’re afraid to love and be left alone again?
Or will CJ decide to stay give Natalie his all?
You gotta read and find out, but just FYI though…this book is straight up HEA. I love happily ever after book, always keeps me reading.
This book started out a little slow, but once CJ and Natalie had their first encounter it started moving into my phase. This book is a really fun read, CJ and Natalie’s chemistry were off the charts. At times I was losing my patients, because I wanted them to get together so badly quickly; but the wait on them really getting together is all worth it.
My favorite part of this book is The Husband Games, it was fun and heartwarming. CJ and Natalie were just too cute. This book is a standalone, but the first of Misfit Brides of Bliss and I cannot wait to read the next one. <3

In the beginning, I was trying to get into the story but it started out really slow. But it doesn't mean the book took the wrong turn, it was unputdownable after a few chapters. I didn't like the fact that Natalie was a pushover, can't stand up for herself. But when she did, you will know why she had to bite her tongue at times. CJ Blue and Nataliie are going through some rough times of their lives. Natalie is trying to take over her family's bridal shop and is also a single parent. CJ is struggling to move forward from his deceased wife, but it's not helping since he is back to a town that reminds him of her. With family obligations he has no choice but to participate in the Games and totally embarrass himself. BUT as for Natalie, she doesn't think he should play the Games.

Both struggle to accept their feelings that grow for one another, but through the game they cannot seem to deny this nagging feeling within. So many twists and turns that I just wanted to get to the bottom of the story. The story of the book was about two people losing their loved ones and trying to move forward and not living in the past. Will they both get their happily ever after or will they forever let their past define them and not move forward?. You'd have to read it to find out.
Awesome job Jamie.
