Can you find a way to live your life, after the love of your life betray you?
This is Charlotte a.k.a Annie’s story of finding her way back to the living, after part of her died when Jason cheated on her.
This book is a continuation of Charlotte’s story, her finding balance in her life after Jason left it broken. Charlotte practically gave up on herself, she was living life with so much pain of losing Jason. She didn’t know how to go on, so her first step was to move back to her childhood home and give all her time working and remodeling her home. She was also living like a zombie, she stopped caring about how she looked or how she ate. She lost a lot of weight and started avoiding everyone, even her best friend Noble. While having to put up with Jason’s constant messages pleading for her forgiveness.
When Noble finally found her, he made sure Charlotte took care of herself. After a while, their friendship blossomed into something more. No matter how much Charlotte fought her feelings for Noble, she couldn’t help it what she was feeling. Noble had a pull on her, but she also knew she couldn’t give Noble her whole heart…knowing Jason will always have a hold of it.
As much as I love this book, it made me miss Jason. Yes, Noble is a really sweet and the easy person for Charlotte to love, but no matter what happened Charlotte belongs to Jason. I love Noble don’t get me wrong, he is a great friend to Charlotte and I loved him for that since the first book. But Jason to me is the right choice. Even though Noble and Charlotte have a sweet love, they do not have the passion that Charlotte and Jason had. Yes I haven’t forgotten that Jason truly messed up what he had with Charlotte, but it wasn’t something he did intentionally. He was practically raped by Stephanie in my opinion. He was drunk and barely there and Stephanie took advantage of him.
I am super excited about the next book, I can’t wait to read it.
Another great book Eliza Freed, thanks for sharing this beautiful story with us. But please do not forget more JASON LEER on the next book, I miss him. =)
