Jase may not come with money, but when it comes to taking care of family, he’s willing to take a bullet for them. The only problem is that he was always afraid of commitment. Things might just change that for him when his sister’s best friend shows him that being with someone isn’t all that’s cracked up to be.

As for Piper, she comes from a wealthy family. One that looks down on the poor. All they want to do for their only child is nothing but control her life. To tell her who she should marry. She always had eyes for Jase but never actually did anything about it. But now that she comes to realize that he will pursue what he really feels for her, but just pretend to act like he’s not attracted to her, that he only sees her as one of his sister’s best friend. Or so she thought. Since she had to take matters into her own hands, Jase has no clue what’s coming for him. She’s on a mission to make him see that she’s more than meets the eyes. Through it all, Piper experiences the thrill of what it’s like to finally give up the one thing she’s been holding on to in her 25 years.
I loved When We Fall. And would read it again. I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking to read a very engaging and passionate book.
