Chaser is the second book from the BAD HABITS series. This is Cooper and Maggie’s story. As the two friends starts their relationship as sex buddies, Maggie made sure they both knew the rules she set. No spending the night, no date out, no getting attached and so on. But since that night when Maggie’s fiancé ruined her wedding, the night that should have been the happiest day of her life, everything changed. Cooper took care of her that night. Dance with her at the reception and tried to make her forget the pain. That night was their first night together and should’ve been the only night. But when Maggie moved to New York for a fresh start, Cooper and Maggie couldn’t stay away from each other. Their sexual need for each other was too much, that they decided to scratch each other’s itch for a limited time. What started out to be the best idea they had, became very complicated. Feelings started to grow and want of a future together started, what will these two do? Will they really walk away after their time was up or will they give each other a chance? What will West do when he finds out?

This was a fun, sexy and sweet read. Just like the first book I enjoyed the group of friends that really cares for each other. This book showed the side of Cooper that was a real manwhore, who practically slept with every girl he could get his hands on. But when Cooper and Maggie started their arrangement, Cooper showed another side that I really loved. Cooper was sweet, very attentive, caring and full of love. Cooper wanted to throw Maggie’s rules away, but Maggie didn’t. These two explored each other in every which way possible, while Maggie tried to keep Cooper in arms length. I love how these two grew together, learn to love and find real love with each other. I don’t want to say anymore, I don’t want to ruin the story for everyone else. So all I can say is read and read now, believe me it’s a really fun read. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series. Thx for sharing with us Staci Hart.
