"I loved that man. I loved him with a breathless, soul-shattering intensity."
My review for Deep Redemption will be very short and brief because I don't think I have the proper or rights words to describe how epic, intense, and emotional consuming this book is. This book owned me right from the opening pages. The imagery that Tillie paints is so raw and vivid that readers like myself could feel every range of emotions pouring off the pages. Every word, action, and poetic prose tugged my heart in a way that left me a blubbering mess. When I say this book held me hostage, I mean it. I started this book around 11:30pm thinking I would read a couple chapters and continue the rest the next day but for the life of me couldn't put this book down. I had to devour this book even if it meant staying up till 3:30am to finish the book. I know I am being very vague with my review but I personally feel this book just needs to be read so you can understand why so many reviewers are compelled and addicted to this series. So if you are looking for an all-consuming story that weaves elements of redemption, family, brotherhood, and raw emotions then I highly recommend you to read this literary masterpiece.
