Flawed Hearts chronicles the relationship of married couple Max and Anabelle as they try to rebuild their relationship after five years of separation. If you are a Bella fan like myself and have read the Joker Wrath MC series and most recently the book, Desolation, then these characters wouldn't be a surprise to the readers.
The story of Max and Anabelle's relationship is an emotional, heartbreaking, sexy, and heart-tugging read that chronicles the tale of healing and second chances. One night. One accident was all it took to change the course of Max and Anabelle's relationship. The once so in love couple found themselves at a crossroads in their relationship. A husband drowning in sorrow. A wife drowning in emotional pain. Can two people who were so madly in love with each other, reconnect and save what was lost? Or is the pain, hurt, and separation just too much to bear?
“It matters because I didn’t just get over what we had the way you did. It matters because I’ve been fighting for five fucking years to fall out of love with you. It matters because you are the only fucking man I’ve ever loved, and I wanted….I wanted you to be him again. I wanted to come back, to leave the nightmare of the past where it should be. Flawed Heart is a quick, emotional and touching read. This book intertwines the past and present in allowing readers to get the full spectrum of Max and Anabelle's relationship thru the good and the bad. Second Chance romance is one of my favorite tropes to read and Flawed Heart allows readers to see a couple trying to heal and rekindle their love. Though the path to rekindling may not be easy, but with this couple they showed that their love for each other is what kept them holding onto hope. Hope for Bella that Max changed. Hope for Max that Bella could forgive him. Personally, I enjoyed this story of young love but I felt there was something missing since they resolved their issues rather too quickly for my taste. I wanted more angst. More emotions. More dialogue of them really working out their issues. Just More. But overall, I will just say the story of Max and Anabelle is a story to get easily lost in. So if you are a fan of second chance romance, then this book might be for you.

An emotional gripping story of love and lost, that kept me up all night. This is a one sitting kind of book, that you can’t help but read pages after pages until you're done.
Max and Belle’s story was like a fairy tale. The way they met was the cutest story you would ever read about. The way they stayed friends and turned lovers will make the butterflies in your stomach go crazy. Their love was perfect, Max was perfect, their future was looking perfect..Until a tragic accident broke Max and broke the once perfect love that they shared. Max was a broken man who couldn’t love, didn’t have love for himself and didn’t know how to show his wife the love she deserved anymore. So they separated, but never stop loving each other.
When their lives put them back into each others way again, will the love they never let go be enough to keep them together? Or is their love too broken to repair? Read and find out.
This is a beautiful and heartbreaking story that will keep you wanting more and more until the last page.
A story that will melt your heart, will break your heart and will make you fall in love all over again.
