So I think it’s pretty obvious that I am addicted to Chanel Cleeton and if you didn’t get that message, I am here now to tell you that I am. Anything that Chanel writes, I practically inhale in one sitting. And so it wouldn’t come as a surprise as to how much I love Into the Blue.
If you read the first book of the Wild Aces Series, you will be like me thinking you are going to get smoking wild hot steamy scenes but it turns out Into the Blue was completely different. This book was smoking hot and steamy but in a more sweet, palpable, heart-tugging and emotional slow burn kind of way. I absolutely loved that Chanel Cleeton didn’t do the angsty second chance romance but allowed her readers to see that her characters have grown up. There was no need for drama and long drawn angst but instead two people finding and rebuilding the love and trust that they have for each other.
I honestly don’t want to say much because this is one of those second chance romance that had me smiling big and had my heart filled with so much love. Chanel truly captured the meaning of second chances as she took it to another level and had our hearts soaring with her beautiful prose, strong characters, and tangible love connection. All I can say is Bravo Chanel for once again writing a love story that embodies the elements of love, forgiveness, new beginnings, and second chances.
