Misadventures of a City Girl by Meredith Wild & Chelle Bliss was a quick sexy read of a recent divorcee in need of escaping her Hollywood hotshot ex-husband for some rest and relaxation in the woods. What was supposed to be a getaway to help Madison Atwood clear her mind turned out to be one unforgettable adventure with an ex-NAVY SEAL in his cabin.
While I like the premise of the story and enjoyed reading this book, I wished the authors took the time developing a proper back story. Everything felt a little too rushed for me. If you are all about those sex scenes, there is plenty of that. Trust me on that. While I know readers love the steamy scenes, it was a bit too much for me since I wanted a little bit more of romantic connection. With that being said, I did enjoy this book for what it was and hence why I gave this book a four stars.
