Misbehaved is a sexy, slow burn student teacher romance with a twist! Charleigh Rose has cemented herself as an author who can make taboo romance sexy, intriguing, and hot. Yes, I am one of those readers who enjoys a good taboo romance and Charleigh Rose didn’t need to do much to twist my arms into reading her newest release. First off, student teacher romance. Sold!! And to top it off that its older man and younger woman.Yes, please! In other words, do not disturb me while reading.
Remington Stringer is the girl who grew up on the wrong sides of the tracks. While she could be stuck in that environment, Remington has big dreams for herself and so when she gets accepted to a private high school, this was Remi’s shot to get into a good college.

Remi’s home life is not what you considered normal. She has an absentee father who is always on the road working and a step-brother who takes his obsession and love for her in a whole new level of possession. And so when Remi meets her teacher, Mr. James Pierce who intrigues her emotionally and sexually, lines will get blurred.
As James slowly inserts himself in Remi’s life, he soon discovers that Remi is not the average teenage high school girl. She is mature for her age and her life has taught her to be more independent. Furthermore, James also has his own motives for wanting to protect Remi especially when it comes to her step-brother. When secrets and truths are revealed, how far will James go to ensure the safety of Remi and prevent history from repeating itself?
What really drew me into Misbehaved was that the author didn’t make an insta-smut romance but allowed readers to see the developing chemistry and attraction that was brewing between Remi and James. Though their relationship was filled with a few sexual tensions and banter, their connection was undeniable and real. So if you are looking for a fun sexy forbidden romance with a twist, then this book might be right up your alley. My only complaint was that there were some scenes that dragged on and a little too slow burn for my taste but overall a great read. Oh and I also wished for a different kind of epilogue!
