It’s no secret that I adore Meghan Quinn. This author can have you laughing like a fool and at the same time swooning over for your next book boyfriend. And so in her latest, romantic comedy, My Best Friend’s Ex, Meghan has readers like myself going gaga over Tucker and Emma.

If you read Co-Wrecker, then you are all familiar with what happened with Tucker and his ex, Sadie and so now it’s time for this heartbroken guy to get his happily ever after. Emma Marks is in her final year of nursing school and everything should be a breeze but she runs into major problem. She’s homeless and needs a place to stay badly. Call it luck or fate, her childhood friend Tucker Jameson has an extra room in his house. Problem solved. Right? Well, Tucker happens to be her best friend’s ex and so you can imagine all the sexual tension and chemistry that begins to brew upon them when Tucker and Emma blur the lines of roommates and friends as they begin to start having feelings one another. Will Tucker be able to get over Sadie now that he has fallen in love with Emma?
My Best Friend’s Ex was definitely one of those books that you devoured in one sitting. It was funny, witty, sexy, emotional, and had that romantic charm element. While, there were some moments that I felt were over the top, it didn’t detract me from enjoying the book as I got to see Tucker and Emma’s friendship turned into something more. So if you looking for a book that had humor, banter, sexual tension and love then I suggest you give this book a try.
