This book is an emotional, sexy as hell roller coaster ride and a definite must read. I wasn’t expecting anything from this book, but I sure got more than what I bargained for. This book hooked me from the first page and didn’t let me go. I barely slept trying to finish this book and couldn’t wait for my breaks at work to get close to finishing up. Every page I read hooked me into the story more and more and I couldn’t get enough.
Brayden and Kira’s story is an emotional mess of feelings of young kids trying to understand themselves and their feelings, until adulthood. Kira and Brayden danced around each other and their feelings for years, because of Kira’s age. But every day and years that passed, Brayden trying to do the right thing just dug him deeper and deeper in trouble with himself and Kira. The love they had for each other was sad and emotional, Kira held on to her love and self for Brayden for as long as she could and all he did was f**k Kari out of his heart or tried to. Like most teenage boys are they sometimes think with the wrong head, that’s exactly how Brayden was. When the time came that Brayden finally wanted to claim Kari and never let her go, their cheating parents decided to get married, which puts them in a complicated situation.
Both of them left broken and a little out of control trying to handle their lives and their hearts. But anytime they see each other again all suppressed feelings starts flooding back, but always ends in heartache. When will Kira have enough of the pain? Will she finally let Brayden go and move on? Will Brayden ever wake up from his stupidity and show Kira how he really feels? Read and find out. Believe me, this is a must read.
Just a warning… you may want to slap Brayden around a little bit or a lot while reading this book, I know I did. But don’t worry, you won’t love and hate him any less. lol. I can’t wait to read the conclusion of this story, I love it.
