This story of love and pain was so much more than I ever expected. It’s been a while since I have been deep in a story, that made me feel so much in my heart. The love of these two people is so beautiful, but yet so tragic. And to add to all this, I have to say how much I love the dog named Acorn. He was also a beautiful soul and so good. Acorn reminded me so much of our dog named Boots that we lost a few years ago. He was smart and loving just like Acorn. Reading about Acorn put a smile on my lips and tears in my eyes.
I feel so much for this story, that it completely touches and covers my heart. This book touches so much on life, mental illness, forgiveness and love through it all. It gives so much understanding on depression and loving someone so much no matter what. I really cannot say enough about this book. I completely recommend this book with a cup of tea and a box of tissue, because it is for sure a tear jerker. I loved it so much.
