It's been awhile since I last read a Jill Shalvis book and in her newest release, Still the One, Ms. Shalvis once again never fails to deliver a book filled with humor, banter, swoony heroes and of course, heartfelt romance.

Still the One was filled with all the elements that would have any romance aficionado falling in love with the story of Darcy and AJ. An alpha hero who comes to the rescue of a flawed heroine. AJ was the perfect balance to compliment the feisty and sassy personality of Darcy. Both Darcy and AJ had sexual and emotional chemistry that was felt throughout the book. The push and pull dynamic between Darcy and AJ was something that had me gravitated to their story. What I love about this book was the brimming sexual tension. It allowed readers to see that there was a deep connection between these two and it was only a matter of time for Darcy to see that AJ will heal all the painful scars of her past.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. How could you not fall in love with a book hero in a small town setting. Also, this is a Jill Shalvis book and she will capture make your hearts flutter with her beautiful writing and story-telling.
