☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Stone of Thieves Stars☆☆☆☆
REVIEW BY: MICHELLE
Stone of Thieves by Diane J. Reed is the second installment of the Robbin Heart Series but can be read as a standalone.
Are you ready for a magical adventure where gypsies, revenge, cursed stone gem, and lovers fight for their love? If so, Stone of Thieves is the book for you. Stone of Thieves is unlike any fantasy book that I have read and I loved that Ms. Diane Reed took her readers on an unforgettable journey of two young lovers discovering past family secrets.
I was completely captivated by Ms. Reed’s storytelling that I felt I was like watching a movie right before my eyes. Stone of Thieves took its readers on one hell of an adventure where we readers will fall in love with the heroine, Robin and the hero, Creek. Robin and Creek travels to Italy in search of the truth of Robin’s gypsy heritage and what really happened to her mother. Along the way, magical stones, gypsies tales, revenge, death, and spirits begins to unfold and unravel. Although there is danger lurking, the love between Robin and Creek begins to grow stronger everyday. The young couple’s love and devotion for each other is what was truly magical and breathtaking in this book. The power of their love is what stole readers attentions in my opinion. Creek stole your heart with his never ending love and protection of Robin. The action packed thrilling scenes will take you on a magical ride, where you are left guessing if there will be HEA for Robin and Creek. Is their love strong enough to overcome spirits that are fighting to separate them? Will Robin suffer the same fate as her mother?
After devouring this book, all I could say was OMG I loved this book. I’ve been reviewing mostly contemporary romance, thrillers, new adults, and erotica that Stone of Thieves was a good shake up to my read this week. This fast paced entertaining fantasy was a great book to immersed and get yourself lost in a magical tale while learning the gypsy culture. At the end of the last page, I was begging for more and can’t wait for third installment as Creek and Robin begins another journey in discovering the truth of Creek’s mother this time. All I can say, Ms. Reed you need to hurry up with book 3 because I am dying to know what will happen next. I am hooked.
