Brittainy Cherry will always be one of my go to authors. Not only is she one of my favorites, but she has this magical touch when it comes to her stories. In all honesty, she deserves to have your praise and attention as she continues to bring forth stories that are beautifully tragic, poignant, and yet fills your heart with so much love, truth, beauty and understanding. Her words are like food for your soul. And in her latest release, The Gravity of Us, Brittainy will make readers to feel the rumble beneath their feet as she shakes our hearts to the core with her lyrical and visceral prose.

Right off the opening pages, Brittainy takes her readers down the proverbial rabbit hole where we were assaulted with raw emotions as tears began to blur my vision and my heart ached for her characters. The beauty of reading Brittainy’s stories is not knowing what to expect but just allowing yourself to be immersed and be taken on a literary journey where you will FEEL for the characters. To get lost in their pain, sadness, and brokenness. And most importantly, to live and breathe as they discover their happiness and purpose.

There are no right words to describe the heroine, Lucy. In all honesty, she was that voice that captured your heart immediately. She was that delicate flower you watched grow and survived from all the harsh elements. And so when she meets Graham, their world and lives collide in such an indescribable fashion. It was like they were two missing pieces that just fits. And to see their journey from friendship to slow burn romance was worth all the wait.

I will keep this review very simple because I don’t want to spoil it for the readers but what I can tell you is that Brittainy has this spellbinding way to lure you to fall in love with her characters, the story, her words, and the belief in hope, love, and life. So if you want to read a book where truth, understanding, love, and second chances takes root then this book is for you.
