Are you ready to play and get toyed with Skye Warren’s follow up of the Endgame Series? If so, get ready to have your pieces lined up and know what moves to make beforehand because Skye will outsmart you as she leaves you begging for more especially when she reveals the major players to watch out for in this game and sometimes it is the least unsuspecting piece.

First, we were a pawn in her deliciously wicked and sinful story of a heroine auctioning off her virginity. And now, a new player joins into the mix. The unlikely KNIGHT or in this case, the black knight also known as Gabriel Miller. After purchasing Avery St. James’ virginity and claiming her, he sends her away leaving Avery as the unguarded queen as everything she holds dear is ripped from under her. So what does a defenseless queen do? She learns to make her move in this game called life.

Once a socialite princess , Avery is now trying to save her castle. Her family home. It is the last thing she has of her mother. As Avery rushes to save her home from being auctioned off, she begins to see new players enter into the picture. Her father who was once her king soon begins to show his cracks. And as for her knight, Gabriel Miller, it seems she can never get rid of him as he knew what buttons to push and how to toy with her emotions sexually and physically. And as for the other players, it seems they are ready to take down the knight and his pawn. So will Avery learn that she may need a Knight to bring down the Castle?

The Knight is a very sexy wicked romance that blends vulnerability,self-discovery, sexual tension, chemistry, eroticism, mystery and darkness. With her tantalizing and hypnotic prose, Skye Warren held me hostage as I awaited what will become of Avery, the pawn and her knight, Gabriel Miller. Every scene and action left me salivating for more and I couldn’t get enough of these two as family secrets are exposed. So are you ready to get spellbound and discover why the pawn might be the most dangerous piece?
