This is a another story about best friend falling in love. Lately I’ve noticed that I been reading a lot of these kind of stories and I enjoy everyone one of them.
Eric and Em have always been the best of friends, neither one knew about how the other have been feeling. They both have kept in touch by phone, text and via Skype. They stayed close even though they have been away from each other for 3yrs. A lot of things have changed with Eric, specially his big weight lost.
Summer comes and Eric invites Em to stay with him at the parents condo for the summer. They were friendly at first and because of Eric’s insecurities he never thought he had a chance with Em.
Since Eric was little he always had anxiety attacks, which had gotten worse when he got older and became Ali’s boyfriend in high school. Anxiety added with insecurities is a bad mix. When Eric was with Ali, all she did was put him down. Nothing he did was right, the way he looked was disgusting. She just used him for his status, because he was a football player. That’s all he was to her, nothing more.
Will Eric end up leaving because he can’t handle being second to Em’s addiction on being connected?
Will Em stay addicted to her connection online and completely lose?
Read and find out.
I enjoyed the relationship that Eric and Em had, how they stayed close even being miles apart. I love the innocence of their relationship most of all. They had lots of cute an funny moments, that just made me laugh out loud.
This is my first Cassie mae book and I really enjoyed it. I cannot wait to read her other books, which have been waiting for me in my kindle for months now. =)

Eric Matua has social-anxiety disorder and he is having a hard time trying to fight this disorder that is trying to ruin his chances with Emma. I can't imagine how he really feels but from getting to know him in the book, it's sounds really horrible to tackle. He wants Emma in so many ways but there's always the issue that is holding him back. He's so afraid that she might not like what he'll do to her.

Emma is Eric's best-friend for 5 years and tries her best to take this slow pace Eric wants, to be able to tackle the issues to have some type of relationship with Emma.
Together they take it slow and see how far this intimacy that they want to desperately have. I loved how Emma was patient with Eric, it didn't matter if she wants him so bad and can't do slow baby steps. She wants him so bad that it was hard for her to hold back but she did it anyway because of the love she has for Eric.

Love is patient and that's what Emma and Eric had for each other. The journey they took together just pulled me in. I could not put the book down and just wanted to see if they will both get their happily ever after. What an awesome read. You write such sweet romantic books and just know how to draw people in. I loved it and I will be coming back for more Cassie Mae.
