Okay so before I begin my review, there is one important tidbit Kennedy Ryan needs to know. Kennedy, I am going to claim Trevor Bishop mine. Hahaha. And since, I'm claiming fictional book boyfriends, I am going to claim Rhyson as well since I don't remember if I did in my review of his book. (*wink*)
With that being said, I LOVED Until I'm Yours of The Bennetts Series. I have not read the previous three books of the series, but after reading this 4th installment I definitely want to check out the others because Kennedy has definitely got me intrigued with the Walsh, Kerris,Cam, and Jo relationship web.

Though in Until I'm Yours didn't have a complicated love story involving a third party, this story had a web of drama, excitement, heartache, raw emotions, second chances, and love. What I especially LOVE about this story was how raw these characters were written. Ms. Kennedy didn't sugarcoat their personalities at all. She allowed readers to grasp and understand the depth of her characters. They are flawed and far from perfect. They have made choices in their past that they may have regret but those choices are choices that made them who they are today. And that's why I love this book so much. Kennedy striped her readers naked so they could FEEL every raw emotions. She allowed us to feel their insecurity, vulnerability, jealousy, anger, lust, love, heartache and hope.

Sophie Baston. Rich. Mean Girl. Spoiled. Bitch. Supermodel.Beautiful. Sophie has heard it all. She is no stranger to the public making opinions about her. Yes, some opinions about her are true and some are exaggerated and some are not. But one thing that remains, Sophie Baston owns up to everything that she has done and did in her life. Yes, she has slept with men for just the pleasure of sex. Yes, she has posed nude for a magazine and billboard. Yes, she is part of New York's elite. Sophie Baston is all that but behind closed doors, Sophie Baston is just a woman who has her guards up. Behind the makeup, the clothes, the attitude, lies a young woman just wanting and searching for someone to really "see" the real Sophie. And Trevor Bishop just happens to be the man who truly sees her.

Trevor Bishop is your ultimate prince charming and white knight. He was Sophie's missing piece to her heart. He was the one guy who could knock down her walls and see that he is not like the other men that Sophie dated in the past. He is the one man who truly sees her. He doesn't see the supermodel, the socialite, or the mean girl. He sees a vibrant young woman who has a beautiful caring heart that just needed tender loving care. He sees's a woman who brings laughter, joy, color, and spark into his life. He sees the woman that he loves.

As much as I loved and adored the relationship of Sophie and Trevor, I loved that Ms. Kennedy not only written a story about love but written a story that spoke volumes on social issues, gender stereotypes, and injustices. Ms. Ryan was able to tackle sensitive issues in such a positive and powerful way. She allowed her characters to find their voice and inner strength. I love when an author can layer a story with so much depth, raw emotions, and relatable characters. And Until I'm Yours did that and so much more.

All I can say is that if you haven't read a Kennedy Ryan book then you are truly missing out on experiencing a love story that can grip and hold your heart hostage. With her stunning prose and raw characters, Kennedy Ryan delivers a story that holds a magnitude of emotions and love. She has a way of stripping her readers bare to see that everyone has a story. The good. The bad. The in between. But everyone has a story to be told. And in this love story, Sophie's imperfection were perfect for the heart that was meant to love her. And only her. So if you ready to watch a love bloom and take root between two strangers who were meant to have their lives entangled and grow old together, then I highly recommend you give this book a try.
