Wicked Beginnings is a dark love story of two broken teenagers, who believed they didn’t deserve happiness or each other. Eloise “Lo” had a sad life, she lost her mom and her brother in a tragic accident that left her so broken and she fell into a downward spiral. After moving in with her cousins, she worked hard at being a better person and not to turn to alcohol. She was a good girl, but at times still falls into a pit. Then there’s the bad boy jock Maverick who had a past with Lo. A person who tried his hardest on staying away from Lo. He thinks that being with Lo is a bad idea, but yet he doesn’t want her with anyone else. These two go through push and pull with their broken lives, neither one feel like they should be together. I felt for them, I wanted them to be together so bad.

When these two finally gave into their wants, with no promises…boy was it hot. Author L.A. Cotton knows how to make it hot without getting too graphic. There is so much drama in this book, with not only the Rick and Lo, but with Family. Family drama, teenage drama, school drama, couples drama…enough drama to go around, but I couldn’t get enough of this story. I wanted more of Rick and Lo, but I am really satisfied with their sweet ending I didn’t expect would happen. Thx for sharing.
