In this third volume of the series, the truth is finally revealed. We finally got to the bottom of what has Scarlett all frazzled and worried about. Well I had a suspicion of what her past might be like and I was right but then Missy had to add another shocker that I didn't see coming. I enjoyed the book but I thought the ending was a little too rush for my taste but I'm glad to see that once arrogant British bad boy was able to change his ways.

The last and final volume of Wildcard, that ties up all the loose ends of the series.
Ryder of course has been as sweet as always and nothing less than a man that he has been to Scarlett. When Scarlett dropped a bombshell on Ryder, all he needed was a moment to think..but he never once changed his mind about being the man for Scarlett.
Scarlett was a hot mess in this book, at times I couldn’t understand why it took her so long to tell Ryder what was going on. Ryder deserved all her honesty, but she didn’t give him what he deserved at first. When she finally realized how much she cared about him and how he deserved the truth, I was so happy she did. Ryder deserve an honest woman, a great woman, because he has been nothing less than great to Scarlett since they met.
This was a really short read, but a great way to end the book. This of course ends with a HEA, which I just love.

This continues where Scar and Ryder left off from Volume 2. Secrets need to be revealed or else they will both end up with broken hearts. Scar has a secret, but is scared that if Ryder finds out what it is, she would lose him forever. Ryder has a secret that might ruin his reputation or will fire him up even more to better himself.
She has a secret and she can't shake it out. She knows who put her in an awkward and hurtful position in the past. She hesitates to tell Ryder what's bugging her and just pushes him away just a little. Ryder is confused. He has no clue what is going on with her. He wants to trust her. BUT how can you trust someone who hesitates to tell you what is really bothering her?
Instead of asking Ryder for help, she takes matters into her own hand. All she planned was for someone to scare Jake's father. But what what she did was one of the scariest things to do. They are both now trying to pursue this relationship that has major issues that is weighing both of them down. With Scar's son Jake has the surgery out of state, they both have no choice but to take Ryder's offer to live with him.
The twist and turns were what actually saved both their lives. Ryder wanted to help Scar but she eventually finds out the bad things that came with him lying to her about the offer he made to the reporter who is hungry for one of his cases. This reporter is disgusting and want nothing but his body. Seduced him all she wants, but did Ryder give in? Just when you think all the craziness was enough, another news comes and it can either ruin both of their futures or it might turn into a happily ever after for the both of them.
