Aimee is a lawyer and engaged to be married to her childhood best friend, Chris. She's flying to his ranch for their wedding. Packed and ready. What she didn't know is that taking this flight could change her entire life. She's known Chris since they we're toddlers and they were both inseparable, their parents were close friends so they were always around each other. When finally they decided to become more than best friends. Sometimes, for some becoming more than friends work, and others are just better off staying friends. Chris maybe a wealthy guy, but he is one of the sweetest man alive. I fell in love with how Aimee described her life with him. A perfect guy anyone could ever ask for. BUT will it stay that way?
Tristan had a past that he is struggling to get away from. It's not easy because of his old job. He fights the demons he has every time he closes his eyes. I can relate to what he's struggling with and it can really ruin you if you don't have the strength and determination to live through it.
He always had eyes for his boss's fiancé and admired her from afar. He kept his distance because it's wrong. He doesn't own her. He is THE PILOT who dropped everything just to fly Aimee to her fiancés ranch for the wedding. Keeping his distance will be harder than he thought, even if he's in the cockpit the entire time. Well, goodluck fighting, Tristan!
Aimee's wedding was supposed to be one of the best weddings anyone could ever wish for. A ranch in Brazil, what else could you ask for? It changes everything when the private jet crashes on an island with no civilization around. This is where everything gets very exciting. The adventures, experiences they had to overcome had me biting my nails the entire time while they were stranded.
Aimee and Tristan gets a chance to know each other. Their feelings for each other become more than what they expected. Struggling to fight the temptation, it's been a huge obstacle that is hard to overcome. Will they both be strong enough to fight the forbidden pull they can't seem to ignore or will they end up taking the chance at love knowing that other people will get hurt in the process? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!! It's one of those books that you will have to read more than once.

This book deserves so much more than 5 Stars, It is so beautiful it deserves more. It’s one of those books I will always remember.
Wow, what a beautiful love story, it’s not a story I expected at all..it was so much more.
I mean I enjoyed the last story I read from Author Layla Hagen, but this story surpasses the love I have for any book I read from her. This book is full of adventure, love and life. It shows how much life and love should be appreciated, especially after growing through something so tragic. The love that Tristan and Aimee had for each other was so beautiful and full of life. They lived for each other, what they went through together, kept them strong and full of love.
This story starts out with Aimee on her way to meet up with her childhood friend and fiancé Chris for their wedding in Brazil. With her on the plane is Chris’s Pilot Tristan. With defects mid-flight Tristan had to make an emergency landing on an Amazon rainforest. With their communication lost and lost in the rainforest with barely enough emergency supplies, they had to rely on each other to survive. While stuck on the island, they went through pain, starvation, catching diseases and even having to face the beast.
In the months they were stuck in the Amazon they grew really close. Together they grew intense love for each other that neither one had ever felt before. While Aimee feels the guilt falling in love with Tristan while belonging to her fiancé Chris, Tristan goes through surviving his own demons.
They work together to survive the forest and loving each other with all the love they have to give. Will Tristan and Aimee survive the danger of the Amazon? Will they get a chance of the real love they have for each other? Read and find out.
