Butterface by Avery Flynn is a sweet, adorable, and charming read that tackles the aspects of love,beauty and new beginnings. Flynn introduces her readers to Gina Luca, a wedding planner who loves her job but has insecurities about her beauty since she grew up being teased and called “Butterface.” And so when she meets Ford Hartigan, a straight lace cop, Gina’s life is turned upside down for the better. For the first time in a long time, he made her feel special, worthy and beautiful inside and out. But what happens when Gina learns that Ford may have taken interest in her because of her brothers affiliation to the mob ties. Will Gina be able to find Ford's true motives in wanting to get to know her? Or will she discover that Ford wants Gina...all of her and doesn't see her as butterface? So if you are looking for a romance that was brimming with adorable awkward romance and playfulness then this is the book for you.
