Cheater by Rachel Van Dyken is a somewhat sweet light and angsty love story. Typically, I tend to stay away from subject matters that deals with cheating since it’s something that my heart and emotions can’t handle but knowing that this is an RVD book, I knew I had to read it no matter what because I know RVD won’t let me down when it comes to her romance books.
Was this a conventional love story? Absolutely not and that’s why I think this book stood out in a way. It had that RVD signature but at the same time RVD pushed a little when it came to our emotions. Yes, there were moments I wanted to hate Lucas but then I was quickly reminded of his charm. You gotta love the fact that RVD can beautifully heart, laughter, tears, and angst into one story. So are you ready to meet Lucas Thorn and discover that he may not be a cheater after all and the only thing that you are cheating is missing out is meeting Lucas and Avery.
