It’s no secret that I am a HUGE Penny Reid and L.H. Cosway fan. Seriously, these two have teamed up to write one of the best romantic sports series that I am totally smittened and obsessed with. And in their newest installment to the Rugby Series, Reid and Cosway has readers like myself swooning for Bryan Leech as he tries to win the heart and trust of the mother of his son, Eilish Cassidy in The Cad and the Co-Ed.
I couldn’t explain it, but I had to admit to myself that I was drawn to her. Not just because she was beautiful, but because she had a presence, an energy I found incredibly appealing despite the fact that she clearly considered me . . . scum? Unappealing? Beneath her notice? Maybe a combination of all three. ”Bryan Leech was a cad. Hell, he was notorious for his playboy and manwhoring ways. As one of Ireland’s famous rugby player,he was no stranger to the party scene especially when alcohol was involved.

As Eilish’s cousin, Sean tries to remind her that Bryan is a changed man, Eilish too also see the changes.
When Eilish lets Bryan into her life, she informs him the truth of what resulted that night five years ago. How will Bryan react when he discovers that he is a father? And will Eilish be able to fully trust and give her heart to Bryan as he tries to seduce and win back her affection and trust?
Bryan Leech will win anyone’s heart as he shows that he is a changed man. Heck, you can even say he is kinda boring now that he is no longer into the party scene but this new and improved Bryan is what he needed to be. He got his career in track and has been sober for a couple of years and now with the new revelation that he is a father, Bryan is over the moon ecstatic. And what would even make it better is winning Eilish’s heart. So will this former cad be able to win the heart of the co-ed that he has been pining after?

This book had beautifully weaved humor, sass, friendship, family, second chances and heart. The writing was fresh, crisp, and brilliantly told in a fashion where readers could feel for the characters as both Eilish and Bryan discover second chances at love and life do exist. Honestly, I want to tell readers to do themselves a big favor and go read this book and series. Trust me when I tell you that Reid and Cosway will have you begging for more. So if you are looking for a romance that has heat, humor, and heart then I suggest you read The Cad and the Co-Ed.
