A raw, honest, sexy, palpable romance that was mixed with humor, friendship, love, passion, strength, and confidence. Kylie Scott continues to intoxicate readers with her words, charismatic characters, and heartfelt love stories and in her newest release, Twist, she has readers like myself drunk in love with with Joe Collins.
Forget a Tom Collins because the only thing that I want to be drinking is Joe Collins. When Joe helped set up his younger brother’s dating profile, he didn’t think he would easily develop an email pen-pal friendship with Alex Parks. For six months, “Eric” and Alex would exchange messages and inform each other of their lives.

So when Alex decides to make a surprise visit, she expected Eric to be thrilled but what she found instead was an Eric, who didn’t know who she was. It turns out that Joe has been the one exchanging emails with Alex. Hurt and disappointed, Alex wanted to get away as fast as she could but when she caught the flu, it was Joe who showed up at her hotel making sure she was okay. Joe never intended for Alex to get hurt and be made a fool of so he tries to show her that he truly cared for her. As Joe tried to show Alex, "the real Joe," Alex begins to fall for him and his big heart. What happens when her guarded walls begins to crumble and she opens her heart to Joe?
I seriously can’t get enough of Twist. This book was not only a fun read but also blends an emotional and heartfelt aspect that I found myself drawn to. I love seeing the connection between Joe and Alex through their past emails and how they still have that bond that carried through as they got to know each other in person. Kylie Scott did a remarkable job showcasing the chemistry as she splashes laughter and vulnerability in a sexy and raw manner. So if you are looking for a story that blends friendship, love and a twist then I would highly recommend you to read this beautiful love story of Joe and Alex.
