☆☆☆☆3.5 to 4 - VIRGIN STARS☆☆☆☆

He's a virgin. She's heartbroken. Best friends since they were in high school.
Cale and Riley, have always wondered since they've been apart what it would feel like to be touched by each other in the most intimate way possible. Now that they are matured and responsible in their own way, they're given the second chance to cross paths. But it's up to them on how to move forward.
Riley hates the fact that Cale is a stripper. She once walked in the club and had seen with her own eyes, how Cale is repeatedly mauled by horny women. Riley has a decision to make. Will she accept Cale's profession or will she pack up and leave him for good?
I loved the ending, but the thing I wasn't really sure of was Cale and Riley not having a back story. I wanted some type of introduction to both of their pasts. How it all began. I know the author tells us that they are best friends and have known each other for ten years but I wanted further explanation. A little blast from the past. If that was presented then I would've had a better understanding and have gotten to know both of these characters. BUT I love that it ended just how I wanted it to be. I enjoyed their love story. Loved how Cale saved himself for the only woman who owned his heart. And how after all these years the love and friendship that they have for each other still burns bright.

Cale is a really short story of his life with Riley. The life he wanted for so long, but never had a chance to get. Cale was an ok kind of guy, but the story was too short to really show what Cale is really all about. All we get is how much he wants Riley and how she’s the only woman he wants to bury himself deep in, But it didn’t really give too much of a back story or more of a present how he really is. The story was too short and too the point to really give us a chance to fall in love with him or Riley. I wanted more moments to see how he really is, to fall in love with his character like we did with Slade. So it was a ok short story of love.

Fast forward to six years later, Cale is a stripper at the Walk of Shame and is still a virgin. A hot young blood man still a virgin, who happens to be a stripper. Well for Cale, regardless of how many young women throws themselves at him there will be only woman who owned is heart and body, Riley. When Riley returns back to her hometown,Cale makes it known that this is finally his time to get the girl. Toss in an ex-boyfriend and Cale's occupation into the mix, can these two finally get their shot at a happily ever after?
Cale was a quick fast read. For all those readers who loves the friends to lovers trope, this book might be the book for you. It had some heart-tugging moments of two friends trying to deal with issues that might hinder them from truly becoming a couple. But like any couple that is meant to be, they persevered and showed that the wait to be together was well worth it.
