If you must know I was absolutely addicted to Night Owl by M. Pierce and I couldn't get enough of Matt Sky. And the way M. Pierce has written this seductive and tantalizing trilogy has readers begging for more. I must say this last installment, After Dark was a PERFECT conclusion to this trilogy. And what a brilliant and satisfying ending!!
With the truth of Matt faking his death exposed, Hannah and Matt must face one of their biggest challenge in their relationship: What the future holds for them. With all the secrets and lies exposed, the real test for this couple was how they will establish a healthy relationship as a couple. The beauty of this book was the raw aspect of their relationship as they are both showcase their vulnerability. Matt and Hannah's struggle with their relationship was an honest portrayal of a real couple learning how to communicate to each other. It was touching, emotional and raw. M. Pierce did an amazing job showcasing the growth and maturity of Hannah and Matt as the series progressed. As they continue to navigate their relationship, readers are treated to another beautifully sexy, erotic, amorous, passionate and sensual read.
After Dark made me fall in love with Matt!!! I was addicted to this sexy hero who has somehow manage to capture my full attention. My heart truly went out to Matt when he thinks he's undeserving of love. I really wanted to give him a hug and reassure him that he no longer has to be in the dark.
The Night Owl Trilogy is one emotional sexy erotic roller coaster. M. Pierce did an amazing job in capturing our attention. This author was able to weave romance, angst, secrets, lies, and heart into this beautifully seductive read. The writing and story-line was addicting!!! M. Pierce should be praised for bestowing romance readers an original and captivating book. As I stated earlier, this conclusion to the series is a bit bittersweet for me since M. Pierce had us all on edge of our seats for After Dark and I'm a bit sad to say goodbye to Matt Sky. I look forward to reading more future works from this author.
