Endurance by Georgia Cates can be read as a standalone but it is highly recommended that you must read The Sin Trilogy first in order to fully understand The Fellowship. In this spin off, readers are introduced to Jamie Breckenridge and Ellison MacAllister.

Ellison MacAllister is the sister of Bleu and this is her story of her transition into The Fellowship and her new life in Scotland. Ellie is in love with Jamie and she wants to be matched with him. She makes it known to Jamie that she wants him but Jamie tries to distance himself as much as possible since he fears that he won’t be able to protect Ellie from danger even though Jamie is madly in love with her.

As Jamie recruits Ellie to be part of the new infirmary that he wants to establish for the Fellowship, lines between them are crossed as Jamie and Ellie acts on their sexual attraction. Will Jamie finally realize that Ellie is worth the fight?

Endurance is very different from the previous books in this series since this book took on more on a sweet undertone. As much as I like the romance aspect, I wished the author was able to incorporate the suspense aspect she did in the previous three books. But other than that, this was a very fast paced sweet read and I look forward to see where Georgia Cates takes on the other characters of The Fellowship.
