Linger by Lauren Jameson was the first book that I have read from this author. And in this book, Ms. Jameson introduces her readers to the BDSM side of a Female Domme aka "Mistress."
Control. Submission. Power. Domination. These four words are what pops into my mind when I think of the BDSM scene. In Linger, Ms. Jameson not only incorporates these aspects but also weaves layers of an emotional breakthrough. Walls were being torn down. Power was being handed over. And submission of relinquishing control was explored.
Scarlett Malone is an independent and feisty Domme. She enjoys the ability to dominate her submissive. This sexual preference of her kinks are what she needs and craves. So what happens if she meets a submissive, who rocks her world and changes her outlook on relationships? And what if this submissive pushes and test the boundaries of control with her being his Mistress. Will Scarlett be able to tame and control the very alpha male, Dr.Logan Brady to submit out of his free will?
Linger was my first book that was solely focused on female Dommes/Mistress. Though this book contains graphic scenarios, it was still able to incorporate a touching storyline of letting go and submitting to love. Linger is definitely a book that will keep your eyes wide open and have you rooting for Scarlett and Logan. To linger is to stay around a place for longer than necessary. So what happens when Scarlett not only lingers physically, emotionally, and sexually into Logan's life? Well the only way for you to find out is for you to go read Linger. It will take you on a sexually and touching storyline of dominance and submission.
